Wegmans has once again decided to make a decision for their customers on what they like; Cinnamon Buns have been axed for a more profitable in store baking ***. They say itโ€™s what their customers want, but every other week they sold out of the buns if you waited until the last 2 days before there delivery truck got there.

So if you almost always sell out how you determined that we didnโ€™t want them anymore. And it was already a Wegmans store brand item. Itโ€™s bad enough you try to force people into buying your store brand stuff by saying there is not room on the self for other things, name brand stuff but the reality is if you donโ€™t have it you donโ€™t have to take national coupons for products.

You seem to have the whole middle of the store file with none food items trying to be a department store and your everyday low price motto is bull to start with. In most stores your prices are higher than all other stores

Reason of review: drop prouduct.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Location: Cicero, New York

Just realized that wegmans aren't making those great cinnamon rolls.

Soooooo disappointed!!!

Does anyone else sell anything like them?

the prices are competative with other stores...in fact they are cheaper in some products...i will admit the prepared side is a little high in price, but delicious...go back and shop again and compare...you will be surprised..

Actually the reason our cinnamon buns were taken off the shelves was because they were not selling well enough company wide to replace the 1 million dollar equipment it takes to make them. The machinery was old, outdated and constantly broke down.

Sadly the money required to fix it was not worth it to the company when they could come up with a better option. This was a company decision, not based on the stores or their management teams.
